Join us for the Prince William Plunge at Leesylvania State Park, where we’ll be strutting our stuff and taking an icy dip into the Potomac River — all for a great cause. Bring your friends and family out for fun, music and food, and a chance to claim the title of best-dressed plunger. Remember, it's $100 to Plunge, with cool incentives you can earn along the way!
Parking:
Parking will be available at the plunge site. Additional parking information and any required parking passes will be shared closer to the event.
Event Timeline:
11 am - Plunger Check-In/Day of Registration Opens
11 am - Food Truck Opens
1 pm - Check-In/Registration Closes
1:15 pm - Plunge festivities begin with costume contest, event announcements followed by the Plunge! Since we have pivoted to plunge in above-ground pools, we will now be plunging individually or in pairs.
Reminders:
- Changing tents and bathrooms will be available. We recommend bringing a change of warm clothes for after the plunge.
- Closed-toe shoes, such as sneakers or water shoes, to take the plunge.
- This is an outdoor event. Please monitor the weather and dress accordingly. In the case of rain, there will be limited covered space, so please plan ahead.
- All plungers must raise $100 before taking the plunge.
- All earned incentives will be distributed on-site.
- This is a family-friendly, alcohol-free event.
- The plunge takes place in the Potomac River at Leesylvania State Park.
