2011 Polar Plunge Schedule of Events:

Friday, Feb. 4
  • 6-10 p.m. Friday Night Plunge Party featuring local band Butter (under Main Tent, at the end of 7th Street on the beach). Adult beverages and food also will be for sale. All ages welcome. Ticket information coming soon!

Saturday, Feb. 5

  • 5K details coming soon!
  • 10 a.m. Winter Festival Begins/Registration for Costume Contests (under Main Tent)/Shuttle bus begins pick up at 19th Street lot
  • 11 a.m. Opening Ceremony in the Main Tent
  • Noon Boogie Down the Boardwalk Costume Parade (meet at 6th Street)
  • 12:30 p.m. Pee Wee Plunge in the Kids Zone for childen 12 and under
  • 1 p.m. End of Registration for Costume Contests
  • 1:15 p.m. Costume Contests (under Main Tent)
  • 2 p.m. Plunge Check Presentation (under Main Tent) – come see how much we raised!
  • 2:15 p.m. “How to Survive the Plunge” Safety Briefing (in the Plunger-only area)
  • 2:30 p.m. The Plunge!
