About Polar Plunge

Cold feet for a good cause!

Runners can hit the boardwalk Saturday morning (Feb. 4) for an invigorating 5K! The 5K will begin at 8:30 a.m. at 8th Street and the Boardwalk. All ages welcome (you don't have to plunge to participate).

The registration fee is $40/runner. ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. Participants still can register in person, however, by downloading the registration form (PDF) and bringing it to the 5K packet pick up (details below), or to the 5K check-in Saturday, Feb. 4 from 7-8 a.m. at the Ramada.

All runners will receive a long sleeve 5K technical shirt (shirts only are guaranteed to the first 1,000 registered runners), goodie bag and entrance into both the Polar Plunge Festival and the 20th Anniversary Saturday Night Beach Bash (one pass per participant). New for 2012, runners also are eligible to earn cool fundraising incentives. You can set up an online fundraising page through firstgiving.

Runners will be able to pick up their race packets Jan. 31 - Feb. 3 from 2-7 p.m. at the Ramada at 6th and Atlantic, or Feb. 4 from 7-8 a.m. at the Ramada (please enter from the boardwalk).
